What Is Sports Medicine?
Sports medicine is a specialty that covers the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries caused by sports and exercise related activities. The focus of sports medicine is to help patients make a full recovery so that they are able to resume their sports activities.

Northern Nevada Sports Medicine focuses on nonsurgical treatments of sports injuries, including:

Approximately 90 percent of all sports injuries do not require surgical treatment but if your injury does, we will make a quick referral to the orthopaedic specialist who is best for you.
